Facilities. 

Design 
Mti's Design Department specialises in the Design for Aluminium Salt Bath Dip Brazed units. We are equipped with the latest CAD Systems. We work with our customers to take their design concepts and modify the design to be suitable for the brazing process. The end result being a design that meets customer mechanical and dimensional requirements that can be machined, assembled, brazed and finished in an efficient manner. Typically a customer will initiate design with their initial STEP Models upon which MTI will interrogate and make recommendations. 
Production Engineering 
Mti’s Production Engineering Department is equipped with the latest in Manufacturing Management System. Our system controls end to end manufacturing from receipt of the client's purchase order through to delivery of the goods. This allows for conformance to the AS9100 standard including traceability of all external and internal inputs. 
Brazing 
Mti's Salt Bath Brazing Facility is operated and mantained 24/7. A back up bath is kept for contingency. 
 
The principal of Aluminium Salt Bath Dip Brazing involves joining non melting metals at the brazing temperature by a brazing alloy that melts. 
 
CNC Machining 
Mti’s factories are equipped with the latest CNC Machine Tools. In total Mti have eighteen Machining Centres, three CNC Lathes, CNC Wire Eroder and CNC Spark Eroder. Mti also has its own dedicated Sheetmetal Department that is equipped with CNC Punch Machines, Break Presses and Guillotine. 
 
The item shown her in the image to the right hand side is a fine example of our CNC Milling capability. All our work is produced to the highest standards of quality and workmanship every time. 
Testing 
Mti’s Test Department is equipped with Environmental Chambers, Air Pressure Test Systems, and Flow Test Rigs. Mti can perform; Environmental Testing, Pressure Testing with air under water, Pressure Testing with water, Pressure Drop Testing and Flow Testing.
